Swallows

When I was brushing my teeth this morning, out of the window I spied almost seventy swallows sitting on the power line, so I took a photo. And when I went outside there were as many again on the line to the workshop, though it’s sad they are thinking about leaving I am glad to see there are so many, as they had such a poor start with their first brood.
I also note that we have had a lot of Swifts this year, more than I have ever seen here before.
