Enjoy England Gold Award
We have just been awarded a Gold Award by Enjoy England who say: “Gold and silver awards are given to hotels and guest accommodation that provide exceptional quality in all areas but in particular in service and hospitality.”We are very pleased to have got it. For some time we have felt that the grading system has not done our Northumbrian Cottages justice as under the marking system we score better than some five star establishments, however we could not have five stars for physical reasons to do with the buildings, and no matter how much we compencate in other areas we will never achieve five stars.
The award goes some way towards recognising that we do ty a little bit harder.
