This is an old Kenyan proverb, and never has it been truer. Climate change divides us and once you get past the interests and the heads in the sand there are debates going on in households, bars and over dinner tables all over the country. Eloquent and intelligent folk argue the toss from both sides, some read broadsheets others tabloids, some listen to the radio and yet others read everything they can find about this breaking science.
The thing they all have in common is that none of them know the answers, oh you can wax lyrically and spout your view and bang on that the argument hasn’t been had until everyone gets bored of you and goes home to bed, but when you get to bed you need to remember the Kenyan proverb, because it doesn’t matter if the climate change lobby are wrong, but our children will not forgive us if they are right.
