Delicious Dexter Beef from the smallholding. 

Dexter cattle are renowned for their highly marbled, deliciously flavoured and smooth textured beef. We run an environmental friendly system at the farm and are very interested in maximising the diversity of the grasses and herbs growing in the pastures as well as the wildlife and believe that this mix of herbs and grasses also help to create the rich flavour of our Dexter beef. 

 All meat comes vacuum packed and labelled for customer ease. We have a range of steaks, mince, stewing beef, joints and more. You can’t get more locally sourced, or sustainably produced than our pasture fed Dexter Beef.

Our range of beef boxes and individual cuts: 
Quarter Beast Beef box:

A selection of 20 fillet, rump and sirloin steaks
Approx 8 brisket, roasting and topside joints
20 handy 500g packs of mince ideal for making delicious homemade burgers, chilli and lasagna
5 x 500g packs of stewing beef for winter stews and casseroles
3 x 500g packs beef shin
5 x 500g packs braising beef perfect for stir fries and curries
Featherblade, shortrib 
Frozen offal including tongue, liver and heart available for collection only. 
Quarter beast boxes weigh 30kg and are priced at £400 (RRP £550)

Don’t fancy a whole box? Individual cuts and smaller boxes are available on request however the box is by far the most economical and you’ll be surprised how quickly it disappears!

4 x 500g packs of mince

• Roasts: Brisket, topside & roasting joints £18/kg.
• Short ribs £13.00/kg
• Unfortunately we do not stock sirloin and fillet roasts

About Our Dexter Herd:

Dexters are the smallest breed of cattle, originally bred in Ireland as a dual purpose house cow. The cattle are very well suited to our farm as they are small, can live out all year around and thrive on permanent pasture and grass meadows.  We established our herd of pedigree Dexter cattle in 2008 with three heifers, and have since grown the herd to what you see today. Many of our original cows are still with us, some now 15 years old. Whilst you are staying please feel free to ask Charles for a guided tour of the farm where you can meet the herd. These little cattle are a characterful bunch each with their own names and personalities and names to match.
