The Hay Loft Sleeps 2
The latest addition to Southlands Farm. The converted hay loft beautiful blends country comforts with contemporary style. A stylish retreat for two. A stone staircase leads up to this open plan space with high beams, wood burning stove and a light and airy feel inspired by a trip to the Ha Valley in Bhutan where every bedroom had a wood stove which had to be fed during the night. The Hay Loft however is super cosy anyway with all the mod cons you could ask for in a holiday retreat. Enjoy Northumberland’s famously clear and dark skies through the sky lights above your bed.

The Hayloft is the latest addition to Southlands Farm Cottages, finished in Spring 2018. The cottage is open plan but maintains its country comforts with its stone staircase, traditional beams a wood burning stove and beautiful soft furnishings.

The wood burner situated in the center of the room will keep you toasty warm. There is a plentiful supply of logs and large storage drawers under the raised area. A wooden staircase leads to a double bedroom with crisp linen sheets.
